An RVC INVEST delegation attended yesterday, in Brasov, the inauguration of the Alsace house “Alsace International”, along with the President of Alsace Region – Mr. Adrien Zeller, the Consul-General of Romania in Strasbourg – Mr. Marcel Alexandru, the General Director of Athos Consult – Mr. Adrian Socol, the President of Brasov Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Mr. Nicolae Tucunel, as well as other Romanian and French businessmen. The setting up of this branch will ease the economic relations Romania and France developed throughout the years, in the public as well as in the private field.

Furthermore, on this occasion an Agreement of Cooperation was signed between Alsace Region and the counties Brasov, Arges, Galati, Prahova and Timis, through the regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry, agreement which launches a permanent and mutual exchange of information with regard to the investment opportunities in these regions of Romania and France. At present, Alsace is interested in developing projects in our country in sectors like food processing, urban transport, tourism, medical technology and teacher formation.

RVC Invest delegation also participated at the reunion presenting the economic collaboration opportunities offered by Alsace region and also the work frame and activity schedule for 2009 of Alsace International office.
